Wow….. so the holidays flew by. I love them but they are busy. I love spending time with family and getting together with friends. And eating holiday treats as well….and boy am i feeling them now. Anyway, I took lots of family photos over the holidays…..but I also caught our little furry friends having some fun as well…..lol! They are a lot of fun to take pics of but boy do you have to be fast. I have managed to capture some fun ones of mine and a friends cute little kitty cats.
Out in Romeo Michigan there is this little street called Tillson. It is filled with some very cool old historical homes. Every year these homes are decorated to the hilt for Halloween, and i mean decorated!! One home actually builds their own props each year. I have never seen decorations like these. I went during the day but I guess the best time to go is at night when everything comes alive! I can’t believe I hadn’t heard about this sooner……anyway got some great pictures!
Horse shows have been a priority of mine lately. I have a deep love for animals and really enjoying taking photos of them. I went to a local dressage show to take some pictures just for fun. This really tested my ability to snap quick shots to get just the right pic. It turned out to be a little harder than I thought but I learned a lot and had fun.
Summer is over now and I have a short time before returning to the grind of school work. While I am not too unhappy as it will be one of my last classes before I graduate! Anyway, this summer has allowed me to realize what is important and some of the things I really enjoy doing as a creative person. Graphic design has been a huge part of my life and is what I am passionate about. I have decided that I want to branch out, not necessarily leave design, but incorporate it into another creative field. I have always loved photography and now I would love to see what I can do with it. So this starts my journey of what will hopefully be great photography and design.
